How to apply for

  • Applications are accepted offline only for all 151 tenure-based ITI posts under Ordnance Factory Kanpur Recruitment 2026.

  • Candidates must download and print the prescribed application form format from the official notice section of the AWEIL website (aweil.in/notice) as given in the two recruitment advertisements for 116 Machinist posts and 35 trades posts.

  • Fill the application form in block letters, carefully entering personal details, educational qualifications (10th and NTC/NAC), trade applied for, category, and contact details as required in the format.

  • Attach self-attested copies of:

    • Class 10th certificate/marksheet (as proof of date of birth)

    • NTC/NAC certificate in the relevant trade

    • Caste/category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD), Ex‑serviceman documents, etc., if applicable

    • Any other documents specified in the notifications.

  • Paste the required photograph on the form and enclose two extra self‑attested passport-size photographs as instructed.

  • Prepare the application fee Demand Draft of Rs 100 (where applicable) in favour of “ORDNANCE FACTORY KANPUR”; SC/ST, Ex‑Servicemen and PwD candidates are exempt from the fee.

  • Place the filled form, DD and documents in an envelope clearly superscribed with the relevant post, for example:

    • “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF MACHINIST (SS) ON CONTRACT BASIS” (for 116 Machinist posts), or

    • “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ‘TRADE NAME’ ON CONTRACT BASIS” (for Examiner, Electrician, etc.).
